When contacting my apartment complex to try to get a spare RFID key fob to keep in my car, they said they have a strict policy of 1 per person on the lease. I offered to pay, and they still wouldn't allow it. I find this completely absurd, so that made me do some Google searching and came across CloneMyKey.com

I was worried based on my key having the RFID sensor as well as a garage door button for our gated parking garage. It showed the "DKS" which is basically a 50/50 shot on being able to get done. I called and spoke with Bryan and he was extremely nice and easy to communicate with. I opted to pay for the rush processing so I would have it back the day after I got it.

I sent it FedEx Priority Overnight on Monday and with the storms, they didn't get it until 4pm. They not only still got it done that day, they hand delivered it to the USPS location to ensure I would receive it by Wednesday at 12pm still! Bryan also assured me if I didn't receive it today, they would refund me for the additional rush processing.

I got it at 11:30am this morning. It works perfectly, and is smaller and lighter than expected - which is a big plus. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to get this done. It has been an easier experience than copying a standard house key at some places.

Found out Bryan and Clone my Key online. We manage a high-rise that uses fobs for access control. As we cannot program new fobs, Bryan was a life saver. The specific FOB I had couldn't be copied at any of the kiosks and no locksmith would touch it. I sent pictures to CMK and they admitted they couldn't copy it themselves without me sending it in physically, but promised 100% success if I mailed it. I sent it off and the new keys work! The turn around time on the order was also incredible, they copied the keys and put them back in the mail within hours. Thanks!

Super fast and easy! I had a generic key with no markings, and they were able to make keys from the code printed on the card without having to send it in. I sent my request, and had a response in about 10 min. I also like that they confirm you are the owner of the key and don’t just copy any key for anybody. I got the Keyport card and it fits perfectly with all my keys.

I found CloneMyKey after doing some research online. I wanted a duplicate gate key to keep in a second vehicle without having to pay $50 to my apartment complex. I was not sure if my key would be able to be duplicated via photo since there was not a brand name visible on it. I used CloneMyKey's free service that allows you to send a picture, and they will tell you within a business day if it is able to be duplicated via picture. Once I got that verification, I sent in an order for two key fobs. My order was processed almost immediately, and my fobs arrived from across the country within about 3 or 4 days. They offer a refund if your keys do not work, so I felt safe in taking a chance. I'm so glad I did because my keys work! They also save your data to your account so you can make more copies if needed. I'm so glad I found this service! It definitely relieved a lot of anxiety for me!

This is a long overdue review, I owe them a good review since 6 month ago. This is the best place to duplicate your FOB key. I asked keycardninja they said they cannot do it, I asked sumokey and he tried to do it but end up cannot do it, cause they said my FOB key is more complicated. So I tried clonemykey and not only they do it fast they make my fob key the same look as my original. They are very fast, reliable and nice people. Keys i got worked perfect

So after searching for a company to duplicate my key I was led to their site. Since I had an encrypted key nobody really knew how to duplicate it locally. These guys claimed they could do it. I did some searches online and they seemed legit even offering insurance on lost keys so I sent in my key and not even a week later I got my order back. I would never use another company

I have been a customer of CloneMyKey since 2013. They are best in the industry! Their ordering process is seamless, their customer service is outstanding (eg when one of the keys did not work, they replaced it with no hassle), they follow up on the product satisfaction and they most importantly they are fast! Literally got the new fobs in 2 days!

So glad I found this site! I manage an Airbnb and my guests sometimes lose the key fob and I hate having to go through my HOA each time to get a new one. I sent a photo of my master key fob and got approved for duplicates within a few hours. I placed the order and literally got the new fobs in 2 days! So convenient!

Seamless, Reliable, Ridiculously FAST!

Didn't know this was possible

I made the mistake of trying to use one of CloneMyKey’s competitors first. I ended up giving up my fob for a week and upon return with my keys, none of them worked… I then contacted CloneMyKey and described my fob key and they indicated that they believed it wouldn’t be a problem to replicate. I overnighted my fob to them and the next day, received two follow up e-mails indicating that it had copied properly and described the extra steps they went through to verify that it worked as it should have. The next day, I had my original fob and all of my copies and they worked perfectly!! I could not be happier with the process, price and communication throughout that CloneMyKey provided. Didn't Know This Was Possible

Well I had heard for years that copying (cloning) RFID fobs was impossible and therefore that is why they had become so popular. Running across this site I was skeptical but my need for a duplicate fob made it worth the risk.

My boathouse is fobbed and I share a boat with three other families. The landlord refused to issue me another fob claiming it was for security reasons. I bugged him many times but he said there were no exceptions!

These Guys Are Legit

I stumbled upon this site, and had my doubts. What can I say, I am a natural skeptic. Out of absolute necessity, I had no choice but to proceed. It was ridiculous how easy the process was. In a matter of minutes I placed my order, printed off the order form and was at the post office. Again, because of my situation, I had to pay for expedited services. I have a Schlage 9691T key fob for my apartment in Miami, Florida, and I couldn’t find anyone locally who could duplicate it. I needed extra key fobs to get into my place and wasn't able to have them copied at a kiosk. I found Clonemykey through online reviews and couldn't recommend it more if you need a key fob cloned. They are very knowledgeable on all types of key fobs and what’s needed to clone them. They weren't able to clone my fob through the serial number but gave me a discount to mail in my key. Shipping was quick and the new key fobs work seamlessly!

My apartment only uses the white key cards and charges $75 for additional cards. I wasn't willing to pay that so searched for alternatives and came across CloneMyKey and I can't say enough how awesome this is. The process they describe on the website is exactly what it is. Since my card needed to be mailed in I had to plan it in a way that would work for me so when I was out of town for a week I mailed in the card using the instructions (I did pay a little extra with priority shipping) card was received and mailed out in a day. I ordered 2 key chain fobs and paid a little extra for shipping. I received everything including my original card as described I would on the website. In the end I paid in total about $52 (this includes the around $9 I paid for initial shipping, $35.92 for the two fobs and $6.45 for the shipping.

Great products and service! I highly recommend the Mobile Key. Instead of carry a bulky fob for home and another bulky fob for the office, converting them both to Mobile Keys that fit between my iPhone and its case is great since I will always have my phone on me. Some sort of magic...

CloneMyKey worked like a charm. I hated having to keep up with my fob and it didn't help that sometimes I'm in my wife's car...sometimes mine, etc. I used the snap process and, apparently through some sort of magic... w/in a week I've got a 'key' that fits comfortably under my phone case and works great. Super fast and easy to communicate with

Clone My Key was super fast and easy to communicate with. I ordered online and used the option to upload photos of my key fob to get a copy. They were very clear to me that there was a chance it might not be successful but should it fail I was able to mail in a fob to get it done that way. I decided for convenience to take my chances. My order was shipped out the next day despite it being right before the New Years holiday. Due to the holiday it took a little longer to arrive but when it did my order was as expected and worked perfectly. Simplified my life

Perfect Solution

Thanks to CloneMyKey.com I don't have to carry around a key chain anymore! I moved to New York, gave up my car and moved into an apartment that is equipped with electronic locks.

It's Real And It Works Great

I recently moved to a new apartment building and they gave me 2 Indala fobs. I needed an additional one for my son when he comes home from school but the leasing office said no and they can't even sell them. Luckily I found this website and it was so perfect. I had CloneMyKey duplicate my prox fob by the expedited service option. The service was fantastic and I received the working keys back within one day after sending them to the company. Don't hesitate. I highly recommend CMK for anyone who needs this type of service!

Absolutely No Complaints

The cloned RFID that I received (two of them) have worked wonderfully. I had the clones made to be able to have a keychain RFID rather than the card that we were issued for the complex.

The turnaround on CloneMyKey's side of things was exactly as predicted and I have no complaints about the process, price, or results.

Above And Beyond

I needed to clone a key that contained both RFID and iButton components. I mentioned in my notes that I thought the iButton part couldn't be cloned, and they wrote back to tell me that they could do it! The iButton cloning service is still in beta, but the cloned keys all work perfectly, as do the RFID fobs. This is communication and service above and beyond what I had expected, and has saved me an incredible amount of trouble. These guys seem to be the only company providing these services right now, but they sure don't act like it!

Very easy to do business with. If you have a fob or keycard you need copied, Clonemykey makes it very simple. The online ordering process (which I used) is really quick, or if you prefer you can send in your fob. My duplicated were made and shipped within a few days and work exactly as the original.

ConeMyKey made getting replacement keys quick and easy. When I sent the original copies of my keys to Madison, they arrived at 12:05pm, which I was worried would be past their 12p cutoff for same day processing. Sure enough just a few hours later, I got an email that my order had shipped and the keys were in my mailbox in no time at all. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to copy keys.

I was looking to make a couple of copies of a building access card; however, I called around and I didn't find anyone locally (in NYC no less) that was confident they could make a copy (no visible serial number on the card or places just didn't clone cards, only keys). After doing some research online, I download some apps like NFC Tools and NFC TagInfo but this was an RFID card. Eventually, I snapped a photo of the card, sent it to clone my key via email, and heard back within 1 business day that they could clone it via their mail in program.

You get to select the form of the copy you get, and I selected a fob instead of a card. They processed the copy within a business day, so you could have your copy back relatively fast, even from across the country, depending on the speed of shipping you pay for. I would recommend this company and will almost certainly work with them again!

Get a backup fob for less & support a small business

I have used this company twice to make fobs. Going directly through my apartment complex for a replacement would have been triple the cost as CloneMyKey was. They are fast, affordable, and effective. I highly recommend them! You can also do a similar service at bigger box stores like Lowe's and/or Home Depot but their fobs that they sell there are a lot more expensive. Clonemykey made a fob for me about 10 years ago and it worked perfectly all this time, but just recently I lost it. I ordered a new one and they made it right away from my existing information file, no need to send anything else in. The new one arrived quickly and works perfectly too. Extra key for convenience

Found through google as cloning key at apartment complex was quite expensive. The webpage and checkout instructions were clear. This company copies electronic key fobs and does it seamlessly, quickly and accurately. I had the iButton fob for our Annapolis sailboat copied. Ordering was effortless. Mailing to Wiconsin, duplicating and mailing back to Maryland with standard delivery (not rush delivery) took 4 days or less. The duplicates worked perfectly. Adding a couple of extra jobs and the "patch" for our phones has been awesome! I mailed them a keri NXT series fob which was notorious to copy, based on my experience with kiosks and online forums of RFID/NFC tools like flipper zero.

Clonemykeys was able to copy it within 30 minutes of receiving it by mail and dispatch it within a day. Due to USPS delays however the package got delayed by a day or so but even with that delay, I shipped the key on Thursday and received it by the Tuesday of next week, which was pretty quick. Bryan was very responsive throughout the process, including replying to my emails on a Sunday on helping track the package.

Ordered a few copies of Shlage 9691T which I was unable to duplicate at a kiosk. Got a quick turnaround of my fob once mailed to them. The items arrived when expected and worked perfectly. It's nice to be able to use my phone as my fob to open my lobby door.

This is a great company to get your electronic key cards copied or upgraded. I sent in my standard credit card size key card and they copied it onto a very convenient mobile key that you put in between your phone and your phone case. It works perfectly and was affordable.

This firm has its act together 1000%. When I couldn't clone my fob without sending it in, they (Bryan) was in touch with me and facilitated me on sending in the fob. The process worked perfectly. Our dog walker now has her own fob again, saving us all kinds of logistical headaches. And, I have extras for guests. The building management was adamant about getting no extra fobs even though I would have happily paid for them. Foolish. For a small fee, I left them in the dust.

Clone my key is one of the best things to happen to anyone with a fob key. Especially when your bldg gives only one key. Customer service is great Brian is a big help he keeps you informed as to when they received your key, how long it will take and when they're ready to Ship it back to you. You can have your key fob info stored in their data bank so if ever you lose your key you can go online or simply call to have a replaced sent out to you. The process is easy as 123.

Very Pleased. My apt don't give out extra key fob but, they gave me
two keys to my apt and two keys to my mailbox. And, when I inquired about and extra key fob with them they said it will be $50.00 and usually don't give you another one unless its lost. My son searched the internet and came across Clonemykey. I was skeptical of giving my only key fob let alone shipping it. When I saw Better Business Bureau backed them I was in... I was hoping my serial number and picture of it would help so I wouldn't have to send it in. I ordered the key fob, the promotional wristband and both authenticate faster than my original Keri fob. The fob is as thin as and almost as long as a normal house key, which fits better on my key ring, than my Keri fob. I sent my Keri fob into their facility using USPS 2 day priority on a Tuesday morning, I received it the following Monday in the afternoon, using standard service and free shipping. They shipped it back in a regular looking padded envelope, with CMK-LLC as the return address header. I am very happy with the service and products they provide. Thank you CloneMyKey!

I needed another key fob, however, the apartment management would not give me more than two. I wanted a third one for my boyfriend and took to the internet to see if there was a way to get another key fob. I found CloneMyKey and researched the company. All I could find was positives reviews which made me skeptical but now I know why they have great reviews. I sent in my key fob in and I got an email when they received it on Tuesday. I received my new key fob on Monday. I did not feel like I was in the dark during the whole process which I appreciated. The key worked and my boyfriend doesn't have to wait for me to open the door anymore. The only complaint I would have is having to pay to remove the logo.

What Fantastic service!! I sent my original Key via USPS Express, which guaranteed next day delivery, but USPS stuffed it up and it took an extra day to get there, but once received, CloneMyKey were able to send out the copies the same day, and I received them the next day. My apartment only allows one fob per occupant, but I'm paranoid about not having a spare for guests or even for emergencies. Based on the reviews for CloneMyKey, I decided to order through them rather than trying to attempt to duplicate it myself. The process was easy from start to finish. I just received my duplicate in the mail today and I was able to test the fob and it worked great! Now I have peace of mind. Since the duplicate fob is thin and unobtrusive, I actually started using that as my primary key, and the original fob is my spare.
It would be great if there was a way to duplicate the clicker part of my key, but since the original fob's clicker isn't supported by my car's integrated clicker, I'm not sure there is much that CMK can do to support it. (I'm just mentioning it in case it's something that's being developed or if there are other ideas for duplicating the clicker part).

Although I already had a more "bulky" key fob I wanted one that I could place between my iPhone and iPhone cover eliminating the need to carry an additional device as well as ensuring I would have the ability to enter my building should I have forgotten to bring the separate fob which is on a keychain. I shipped them my original RFID key. Once they received it, their turn around was very fast, and they shipped it right back. The new keys worked great and as advertised. I found Clone My Key using a google search and took a leap of faith and mailed my key fob which is a combination garage door opener and HID key. I received an email when they received my key fob and they shipped it out the same day. I received it 2 days later along with the HID stickers that they made. I put the HID sticker on the back of my phone and it works perfect so I don't have to have such a bulky set of keys with multiple key fobs.

Amazing amazing services. I shipped my fob on Friday January 15, 2016 and although the company is closed on Saturday, they made the exception to work that Saturday ( before MLK's Day) to avoid delays. Like most others here, I could not find away around my snobby apt. complex fob policy. I couldn't purchase a spare without adding another person on the lease. Then I found CMK. I was skeptical at first, but I'm so happy I gave it a shot. I sent my fob Overnight Express on Weds. night, it arrived to CMK on Thursday afternoon. The fobs they sent back were very thin, tear-drop shaped plastic about 2 inches long (i.e., exactly as seen on the site) that are hopefully strong enough to survive normal wear-and-tear. They work as advertised and shipping/handling was very fast. I'm satisfied.

Fast and professional service! They helped me to use their warranty to replace my key when it broke. I almost didn't bother contacting them when my key broke because it's so cheap, but I'm happy I did! They fixed me up with a design the will be less likely for me to break. I've had a VERY positive experience with this company!

Have used them several times. Customer Service (Brian) is phenomenol at making miracles happen by righting errors (only 1 out of 5 orders had an error; usually flawless execution and turnaournd)- to make you a loyal customer that makes you want to sing praises. Only 1 out of 20 key fobs had a weaker RFID signal than the rest; still usable, just takes a second longer to open the door.

Update 2 years later - I moved and sent my sticker and key ring in and had them reprogrammed free of charge because I got the lifetime reprograming package. I also had a lot of questions for them about one of their new products and the best way to effectively combine my work/home fobs. They reply to every email in a timely manner. As always, they had my fobs back to me quickly. No complaints at all about this company. Wish I could add a 🌟.

I ordered these and thought I would be smart and have them sent to someone else's house while I was away on vacation. I botched that b/c they weren't able to be delivered. Seriously, so fast and amazing! This option was MUCH cheaper than buying a new fob from my building when a key was lost. Best part is- for my boyfriend who can't keep track of his keys, reordering once the replacement was lost was SUPER easy. All we had to do was enter our previous order number and they sent a new one out the next day. Very happy customers!

At first I was skeptical of just sending a picture of my fob and receiving a 'clone' based solely off the picture; however, my new key works perfectly. Also, I received my key 3 days after the initial order - fast turnaround. Could not be more pleased with this company.

I initially submitted a form to check if my key would be eligible to copy solely via serial number on the back. I received an email response in less than an hour saying that it wouldn't be, but that they could copy it if I sent the key in.

So I placed an order on Tuesday for two RFID stickers. I mailed it at the post office late Wednesday afternoon and it arrived at CloneMyKey on Saturday morning. They are closed Saturdays and Sundays.
On Monday at 11am I received an email that my order had already shipped! I paid for the USPS priority mail shipping (2-3 days.) Though the tracking said they would be delivered Thursday, I actually received them today at 9:30am. I've now tested them and they work perfectly! They are small and sleek - perfect to stick onto your cellphone or wallet.

So all in all, even without rush processing, the total turnaround time was 4 business days! Pretty amazing. I had asked for a quote from somewhere else, and they told me it would be twice the price of CloneMyKey. CloneMyKey also has a very generous rewards/referral program that I definitely plan to take advantage of in the future.

I have yet to actually stick them on with the adhesive, so I cannot attest to how strong that is. Given my experience so far I don't think it will be an issue, but I will update my review if that is not the case.

There's really just no other way to describe clonemykey than as a godsend. Very pleased! I used the serial number cloning service and had no issues with the clone I received. I submitted an application with the serial number from my original key fob along with a picture of it and proof of residency and it was approved the next morning. Great service!!! I had a key fob for my son's apartment duplicated by CloneMyKey. His key fob is used to open the entry door, apartment door, garage door as well as for using the elevator. If you have a fob that is not listed on their website please reach out and inquire about it, worst they can say is no. I have a Schlage 7610 which was not listed. I reached out and was told that they could copy the fob.

I made my purchase shortly after and mailed my fob the next day. Friends, please remember that what will actually take time is the shipping to and from. Thankfully USPS was feeling nice and they delivered my package a day early. Next thing I know my fob and additional keys have already been shipped.

I purchased a Key Card for my wallet, a Sticky Key that I still don't know where I want to use it, and a Mobile Key - the star of the show. All keys work as advertised, on common doors and my apartment door. The Mobile Key fits to the right of the rear cameras on an iPhone 12 Pro and it's barely noticeable under the case.

Ordered a third slim key card to have a backup. The slim key cards are so convenient for loaning to friends/family that need temporary access. Used my points to get the third card at a steep discount. Service was incredibly fast and convenient. When re-ordering a key, you do not need to send in your original again.

ORIGINAL review:
My door came with a bulky high-security fob. I wanted something I could keep in my wallet. CloneMyKey successfully copied my fob to a slim key card. The slim key card is basically the same thickness (slightly thinner) as my everyday credit card. With the card, I spend less time waiting for the reader to detect the key. My understanding is this is because the card has a larger antenna than the fob. I'm very satisfied.

Turn around time was fast! My key was delivered to their facility on a Friday and they had it shipped back out the next day.

There was a bit of complication with my mail carrier; the package was marked as delivered but was nowhere to be found. CloneMyKey launched an investigation on my behalf and remained in close contact with me the entire time. The package was eventually located.

The only thing I would change are the color options. I wish I could have gotten something besides white. 😉

My building changes the front locks every few years and they had switched back to a former key fob I no longer had. If I got it directly from my building I would have to pay over $100 for one key and we needed multiple. I sought out different websites and many of the options were expensive or would only allow for me to order in bulk.

Aside from a shipping issue that was mainly the USPS’s fault I got exactly what I needed and fairly quickly too. I needed to make a copy of my key fob for my fiancée, my apartment complex is brand new and they are having a chip shortage and quoted me over a month for a copy so instead I found CMK on Reddit and decided to give them a shot. I let them know what kind of fob and how many copies, sent my only copy of the fob in and as soon as they got it they got it done and sent it right back out same day. CloneMyKey has an awesome (patented) product with a sticker-like RFID replacement for traditional fobs. Its a little pricey, but well worth the cost if that means I don't need to remember my keys. I keep it behind my case on my phone and can leave the house with peace of mind. One tip - some cases cannot handle the added thickness of the the sticker (hard to believe) - you need a case that wraps around the phone'a front so that the corners are properly protected. the sticker also doesn't interfere with wireless charging!

I love trying to minimize as much as possible. When I ditched my keys, my remaining key fob for my apartment was still an issue of where to put it. After rubber bands, taking a fob apart myself and a bunch of internet searches I found these guys. Took a few days and now I have a small fob that fits in the case of my phone. Works like a charm. Very satisfied with the key copying service here! The whole process took 5 days for me to receive the copied keys from the time they received the original key at their office. There is also an option to expedite the turnaround time! The copied key fobs work perfectly, and there was no change to the original key mailed to them. I will have to spread the word to other residents in my apartment building because this is the only way to get additional key fobs!

If you just need an RFID cloned, it's fast, effective, and has a great selection of form factors. If you need RFID + door remote unit, look elsewhere. There aren't many providers to choose from and CloneMyKey's prices are comparable to similar services, but anyone with a slightly technical background will note that the cost of a cloned RFID antenna would seem to be many, many times what the hardware is actually worth...

This was a great service! I lost my apartment key fob and they were going to charge me $60 for a new one. I was able to take a picture of my roommates key fob and get a new one! Even with rush shipping I didn’t pay more that $30 which was awesome! The key fob works great and i’m super happy with it. If I ever lose a key/fob again I will definitely use this service again!!!
