HOW DOES IT WORK?
CloneMyKey offers three different options for copying your key fobs and cards. Our specialty is copying radio frequency identification (RFID) based keys. We also support other technologies including high-security keys, smart card, iButton
SNAP N' SEND™
This service does not require you to mail your original key. Simply take a photo of your key and complete the online application. You could have a duplicate key fob in as little as 1 business day.
MAIL IN SERVICE
Supports nearly every RFID based key on the market. For high-security keys and keys without a serial number mailing it to our office is the best option. Most orders ship the same day we receive your key.

Easiest Way To Copy Your Key Fob
Our main service simply requires a picture of the serial number printed on your key fob or card. This number is typically found on the back of your key. This photo can be uploaded using our online application linked below. Once we have your completed application, we will use our special database to help fill in the missing information required to make a working duplicate key.
Our database contains information on thousands of addresses in the United States and Canada. In order to properly use the database, we do require the address of the location where the key is used. For this service we also require proof of residency to ensure you are the owner or legal user of the key. CloneMyKey

How long will it take?
After completing checkout you can expect your order to ship within 1 business day. Orders received before 12 pm CST typically ship the same day. Overnight shipping is available for fast delivery.

Can you make me a key for any address?
No, our database only contains partial information which is not adquate enough to make a working key. The unique serial number of a working key is required to successfully create a working clone.
Our database contains information to thousands of addresses in the United States and Canada but this information is only part of the puzzle.
What is the success rate?
Our success rate varies depending on the format of the key and service used. Please use our Key Copying Wizard to find your specific key and view its success rates.
Where do I send the picture?
Please use our Key Copying Wizard to find your specific key. You will be provided with the available key copying options and a place to upload images of your key.
MAIL-IN SERVICE
For High Security & Encrypted Key Fobs
We have developed our mail-in service to make it as fast, efficient and secure as possible. This service is the best option for newer key formats that use encryption or contain other advanced security methods that guard against cloning. We also recommend our mail-in service for any compatible keys that do not contain a printed/visible serial number.
We have successfully shipped thousands of keys back to customers. Since 2013, we have only permanently lost 3 domestic packages, that’s less than 0.01%. If we do lose or damage an original key, we offer a $265 insurance guarantee that covers the cost of replacement. Click for details

Do I need to provide a return a shipping label?
No, providing a return label is not necessary. During our checkout process you will be provided with our available shipping options. We have options ranging from free all the way up to 1-day express overnight.
Do I get my original key back with my copies?
Of course, your original key is always returned to you.

How long will it take?
Most keys take less than 10 minutes. However, high security keys take up to 5 hours. In rare cases, some keys can take several days.

What is the success rate?
Embedded Chip Cloning
Manufactures have started installing R.F.I.D based proximity chips in all types of products including wristbands, wallets, rings, garage door remotes and much more. We can often copy this functionality onto one of our many key blanks.
On our key cloning wizard, you’ll find many remotes listed that have embedded R.F.I.D chips. Simply click on your remote to view the copying options. If you have an embedded chip in a different device, please contact us to learn the options available for you.
Important Note: Many garage door and gate controllers come with a built-in proximity chip which our copying services support. However, we cannot create any duplicate keys for entrances that currently require the user to press a button.

Mobile KeyTM
This is the most advanced key we offer! This key is engineered with interference reducing technology that allows it to operate from between a mobile device and it’s protective case.
Most cellular enabled devices emit signals that can interfere with RFID based keys. We’ve included a specially designed carbon backing that will not interfere with cellular operation but also allow users to open doors using their phone — just like with their regular key.
Designing a key thin enough to fit inside a protective case was a big challenge. This key takes advantage of the protection offered from the case itself. This key is not designed to be used outside of a protective case.
Important Note: Users with metallic cases may experience poor performance. All keys have a 30-day refund guarantee with free domestic returns.

Sticky Key
Our Sticky Key is a customer favorite. Most users choose to mount their Sticky Key on the outside of their cellphone case but it can be placed nearly anywhere that allows the user to tap it against an RFID reader.
For best results test placement by holding the Sticky Key to the surface you plan on mounting it to. The Sticky Key must be mounted on an exterior surface and is not designed to be used between a phone and protective case.
