Warranty
Every duplicate we make is covered by a 1-year warranty, at minimum.
Repair or replacement, as appropriate. We’ll always attempt to repair the key first, but a replacement may be provided if a repair isn’t feasible. For any warranty claim, the complete key must be sent back to us for evaluation.
You can return a duplicate within 90 days for a full refund of the product price. We provide a prepaid return label for domestic returns.
Refunds if we can’t copy your key
Before you order, you’ll see the published success rate for your key type. If we’re unable to duplicate your key, you receive a full refund of the product or service price.
Shipping: for keys with a published 100% success rate, we also refund the shipping fees you paid during checkout on domestic orders. For every other key, and for international orders, the shipping fees paid during checkout are the only part of an order that isn’t refundable.
Original key protection
We have never damaged a customer’s original key during processing. If your original key is ever permanently lost or damaged while it’s in our possession, our $265 Key Protection Guarantee helps cover the cost of replacing it.
Reprogramming
If your original key is deactivated or reissued, duplicates made from it stop working too. Reprogramming is free for 30 days after you receive your order, and $9.99 after that. For coverage beyond that, see the optional Lifetime Reprogramming.

Lifetime Reprogramming
Keep Your Duplicate Key Working Even If Your Building Changes Your Key.
Complimentary reprogramming is included for 30 days after purchase. After that, our Lifetime Reprogramming option allows us to reprogram your duplicate if your landlord deactivates your original key and issues you a new one.
The new key must use the same key technology as your original. Most buildings continue using the same technology for years, and most keys use one of a small number of common technologies, so this restriction rarely prevents reprogramming, even if you move to a different building.
Best for: customers who move frequently or whose landlord regularly rotates or replaces keys.

Lifetime Extended Warranty
All Keys Include A Minimum 1-Year Limited Warranty Against Defects In Materials And Workmanship.
Our Lifetime Extended Warranty provides lifetime coverage for defects and accidental damage to the key. If your key stops working due to a covered issue, we’ll repair or replace it.
Warranty Requirements: Broken or non-functioning keys must be mailed to us for inspection, repair, or replacement. If the key has broken into multiple pieces, all pieces must be returned with your warranty claim.

Every Mail-In order is tracked. You get an email when your key arrives and another when your order ships back.
Guaranteed Shipping Refunds
A limited number of our shipping options, including USPS Priority Mail Express, include a money-back delivery guarantee. This guarantee is not available on all shipping options.
If the carrier’s tracking shows that your package was delivered after the guaranteed delivery time, we will submit the applicable refund request to the carrier. Once we receive the refund from the carrier, we automatically pass that refund on to you by refunding your shipping fee.
You do not need to contact us or request the refund. If your shipment qualifies and we receive a refund from the carrier, your shipping fee will be automatically refunded.
